My favorite banana bread recipe and all the reasons why the yellow fruit helps us heal from stress and trauma.
Tonight, on my walk home, I could smell fresh pizza. I haven't eaten actual Italian pizza in ages, but I really craved something pizza-ish. The summer heat had me longing for a refreshing dish, too. The consequence of this combined with what my fridge had in store is this in-between wraps and pizza and salad dish. Read this blog and you'll find my instructions, or rather a summary of what I did. My aim is not for you to recreate it and follow the recipe closely. Instead, I'm hoping to inspire you to go more with your gut, to play with your ingredients and to create dishes that you never had before. All it takes, is a little trust, a little confidence, and a little creativity in the kitchen.
It's been hot all over Europe for weeks now and the never ending summer calls for cooling ice cream treats. I felt inspired to make plant-based ice cream using coconut milk as the base, infused with raspberries, lavender and a hint of vanilla. Read this week’s blog to get the recipe!
Happy Midsommar! It was Summer solstice on Thursday, June 21, 2018 - the official beginning of summer. I worked on a client's case on Thursday which inspired me to play in the kitchen and create this delicious apricot lavender tarte. I realized how perfectly it combines the nutrients that would be beneficial for my client's current condition. And as I know there are lots of people out there who are stressed and tend to have a sweet tooth, I decided to share this delicious summer recipe, as well as some of the nutritional benefits of the ingredients I chose.
